The Logic of Psychology
of Science at Large, and Everyday Life
Throughout its history, the science of psychology has been attempting to find its footing. Its theories, ideas and perspectives remain disparate – the incongruities presumed to be a natural by-product of its subject matter. Psychology appears to have no logic to drive theory, achieve unities and confer intersubjective agreement. This starkly contrasts with physical science, which has so successfully harnessed mathematics and all the agreement it confers, and given us an extraordinary mastery of the physical world.
